India tops China in air pollution level increase
Rise in air pollution levels in Indian megacities between 2002 and 2010 has been much more than Chinese urban centres. It was also the highest among 189 cities analysed by the Tel Aviv University, using NASA's high-tech aerosol monitoring satellites.

Cities that recorded a high increase in air pollution levels were Bangalore 34% Pune at 27%, Nagpur at 22%, Mumbai at 18%, Bhilai at 17.7%, Surat at 12.5% and Ahmedabad at 12%. (Source: Hindustan Times, November 30, 2012)

As per these reports and facts our all metropolitan cities need more and more treesthan any other places.

Keeping these facts in mind we are trying to create green belt in the mega cities which are most affected by pollution. For now we are planting trees in schools and colleges campus, housing societies premindex ises, playground and gardens, corporate parks, industrial areas, open barren lands/ grounds and such other places within and outskirt of the Mumbai city. If you know any such kind of potential plantation site in Mumbai kindly update us.

We involve individuals, students, youths and corporates during plantation to make them realize importance and need of tree. Public participations also increase the survival rate of planted plants.
